Hiplife and Afro-pop singer Mzbel is saddened by the number of innocent souls lost through mob action or instant justice following the murder of Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama.

Maxwell is a military officer with the 5th Infantry Battalion (5BN) at Burma Camp in Accra but on detachment duties at Denkyira Boase. He was lynched by residents on suspicion of being an armed robber.

What a waste of human life. Imagine the benefit Ghana would have made from the investment made in his military career. What becomes of these young children and his beautiful wife? Such a promising family! How many innocent people haven't been killed by this barbaric practice?”

Mzbel isn't the only Ghana celebrity to comment on the issue. Shatta Wale, E.L, John Dumelo, Asamoah Gyan, Yaa Pono, DKB, and others have also expressed angst over the incidence and calling for justice for Maxwell Mahama.
